Evening Randomocity (24Sept09)

Well, what's up everybody. Im in the bed, listening to William Murphy on my ipod, and typing this blog from my phone. I had a good day today! Got to spend a lil time wit my 2nd fam the foy's! Pretty fun. Chilled wit my brother Jordan! I was about to put the sparks to him as we was plaing Madden! That's besides the point, lol! Anyway, I also got a chance to sit and chat wit my good friend Kiana! She is sooooo crazy! But I love her, and we had a good talk, about some plans in music ministry that God was taking us to. Im so excited for Kiana, and all her cousins that I seem to know, lol! This world is tooo small! Anyway again, um whatelse did I want to say...? I think that was about it. I just wanted to fill everybody in on my day! Oh yeah this picture. So, this is a friendly reminder to anyone who decides to fall asleep near me with the window down. You will get got! As did Chris. He got...well, GOT! That is all for now! My song for the night has tranistioned from Williams Murphy, to classic God's Property. He'll take the pain a-way! Ok getting sleepy...goodnight all! A Sweet Sound...2

I had a chance to listen to 2 new albums that just hit the scene! And when I say, they sound good...THEY REALLY SOUND GOOD! I'm glad these two musical ministries have finally gotten it right. Gospel/Christian music does NOT have to be One Dimensional! These 2 new artists on the scene have proved that! Here's a brief review of that.


Amos Saint Jean 'Tell the World'

A Son of the DMV, this guy is pretty much one of the hottest producers to come from the area. This album has it all! And it is sure to touch everybody! Though not his first work, it is probably his greatest to date. His first project In the Secret Place Vol. 1, gave him a voice, his production on Stellar Award Nominated Terrell Hunt's album ('Awesome' 2007) was Amos' preparation period. Now Amos is ready to TELL THE WORLD with this awesome release. My personal favorite off of the album is Free! The song is so open and crafted well! With great musicianship and skilled vocal arrangements, this album is destined for greatness. Amos has also released a video that is doing well, and getting play on the Gospel Music Channel. Check it out Here! This is most definately a must have in any MUSIC lovers collection! Pick it up Here! Brandon Camphor and Oneway 'reGENERATION'

Ok, just to start off this review, I want to say that I absolutely love this album and everything this group is about! They are the epitome of UNASHAMED YOUTH! Now, this is the way to start a career in music! Brandon Camphor and Oneway's Fresman album is seriously a contender for album of the year in the DMV. Fresh, new, exciting and powerful are all characteristics that describe this album. From the intro to the closing song! AWESOME PRAISE AND WORSHIP!!!! This youth group is regenerating the DNA of today's youth, and bringing to the forefront a lifestyle of Holy Living in the days of youth. Dont be fooled, though young, this music is not just to make you dance and go off, but it brings a message of change to this nation. With the belief that they can change the world, Brandon Camphor and Oneway is well on their way to fulfilling this mission. My favorite off the album, is Everything I Need! That Dag' on Jayna (Soprano/Oneway) !!!!! Sounds so good! Of course Bless the Lord, written by my man Fred Cleveland (Tenor/Oneway), and Angie Marie (Alto/Oneway) sounds so mature and settled on Faithful is Our God. And of course the Leader/Founder Brandon Camphor who is no stranger to the booth, did an phenomenal job on the entire album, especially on For You Glory! You need this in your collection! You need this in your collection! YOU NEED THIS IN YOUR COLLECTION! Its so worth it. Pick up the album Here! Check out the Myspace Page.
